This is a stunning ranched, female, Silver Fox. This is not a live fox or an already mounted fox. This is a raw pelt for the Taxidermist to mount. This pelt is of the highest quality, and will be incredibly thick, bright, and dense when compared to a wild fox. The pelt has been case skinned, or skinned with the opening of the pelt from rear ankle to rear ankle passing through the vent, leaving the rest of the pelt intact for mounting. Skinning was performed to provide ample ear cartilage, the vent is intact, the lips, as well as the inner and outer eyelids are intact. The feet and ankle bones are retained on the pelt for the Taxidermist to prepare as they wish. The complete tailbone has been removed but the tail is not split. This fox was protected from sun damage through out the furring period and was harvested at the time in which it is most prime, to ensure the utmost from the fur quality for your purchase. THIS PELT IS NOT TANNED AND NOT DRY, it is a raw pelt. There are no snare marks, cuts from traps, bullet or pellet holes, or damage from the elements. The pictures are of the exact fox pelt you will receive. Fur on measurements are: Between eyes 2", eyes to nose 3", nose to base of tail 25", chest at widest 15 1/2", tail tip to nose 40 1/2". After skinning, tail tip to nose measures 53". This item is available to the CONTINENTAL US ONLY. This item will be shipped on MONDAYS only, due to its perishable nature.
